Colorful Retractable Lighter Holder with Carabiner Clip
This clip-on lighter holder has a retractable cord. Body is ABS plastic with a front circular branding. The lighter fits snugly in a PVC sleeve on the back. The only working part of it is the retractable nylon cord, pull it out and use the lighter, then pull it back and it snaps into place. No fumbling. No pocket digging. Cord is 60-65cm long. Just enough reach for at a table, on the knees by a campfire, or just attach to a chest strap and light a stove at arm's length. It retracts completely when released.
Total size is 14.9×4.2×1.0 cm. Lightweight at 16.8 g. Seven colors: black, military green, mint green, yellow, rose red, fluorescent green and bright blue. The PVC sleeve fits regular disposable lighters. Client can check fit on a physical sample lighter prior to bulk production. The front is the most customizable surface, with a circular shape. Drip-molded logo on the face creates a three-dimensional impression. Carabiner gate at the top attaches to a belt loop, bag strap or chest cord. Smokers and users of outdoor uses clip it on in the morning and leave it, only to realise they need it again later in the day.

Lighter Fit Is Guaranteed by One Sample of the Lighter
Send us your lighter before sampling begins. The PVC sleeve size is based on the real product size, not from a drawing in a catalog. Once we have established a sleeve fit, both sides sign off and we are onto bulk. This will eliminate rattle, misfit problems that occur when working to spec sheets.
Drip-Mold Logo
It is a three dimensional elevated logo that is created by the drip-mold process from the surface of the plastic. Durable. This logo is easy to read, even after years of wear and tear. The drip logo is available to purchase in a minimum order of 50. The artwork to use for the drip mold should be a clean vector drawing, the simplest shapes will create the cleanest artwork. A fine hairline does not maintain very well at this size.

There are currently 7 colors in the range. Custom colours or two tone (body and clip accent in different colour) available on larger orders. We acknowledge what is possible prior to sampling.

Q1: Which lighter brands does the PVC sleeve fit?
The sleeve fits in to standard disposable lighter dimensions. The majority of brands in that size can be used without modification. If you are ordering a certain model of lighter, we will send two in order to take a sample of the actual product, from which the size of the sleeve will be determined. This is the only safe way. Measurements in a box or from a catalog photo carry a risk.
Q2: What is the pulling strength of retractable cord? Will it fail to withstand regular use?
The nylon cord is the same as used in the retractable badge holders. Designed to be pulled and released daily. No fragile connector. Pull out the lighter, use it and drop it. The mechanism pulls it back. The cord will not fail when used properly. Do not pull too hard or pull at an acute angle or pull with a much heavier object than a lighter object.
Q3: Will the carabiner gate hold belt loops and bag loops?
Yes. Press-to-open spring gate is standard daily carry gate. Belt loops, bag straps, vest loops, chest cord setups: all OK. Not a load-bearing clip for a climbing/structural application. It is secured firmly for EDC carry weight.
Q4: Can I alter the color of the clip without altering the color of the body?
Yes. The clip is a part that attaches to the body. Other colour combinations are possible: black body with red clip (above case study). We confirm feasible combinations prior to sampling. A standard two-tone is a more convenient colour option than a custom colour, which would be unavailable in our current stock.
Q5: What is the 50 piece MOQ for the drip logo, or for the entire product?
This minimum of 50 is only for the drip-mold logo version. There is a plain version which doesn't have the drip logo, and it has lower MOQ. If quantity is a question, we can talk about a plain-color unit as a pilot run before going to a branded one.
Q6: Can the length of the cord be adjusted?
Normal retractable cord is 60–65 cm long for most clip-on belt/vest carry applications. It may be possible to use a different extension range at the tooling stage. The mechanism housing would have to be adjusted. This is a discussion for orders of quantity sufficient to cover the expense of tooling. For many customers, the standard range will be adequate.
