Custom Carabiners & Lanyards, Made Your Way
Most of the HUASAN carabiners are die-cast in Zinc Alloy, Aluminum alloy or Stainless steel. An S-shaped double ring body and a spring gate. This yields an easy-to-carry, fade-proof, wearproof finish. Colors and sizes are open to choice. In addition to the aluminium line, we produce keychains with climbing carabiners rated to 25 kg and stainless steel spring hook in various sizes. Logo can be laser or silk screen. Any letter shape, cartoon pictures or other theme designs are possible.
A carabiner is a perfect match for a key ring, wrist strap, webbing lanyard or D-ring to create a clip-on or lanyard carry system. Attach it to a keyring, bag, water bottle, pet leash or any outdoor item. Practical. Secure. What we are actually using it for instead of putting in a drawer. Prevents items falling or being lost.
The lanyard also shields the object that is attached to it from knocks and scratches while it is attached and working around. Webbing lanyards can be fitted with a printed logo or full artwork and worn around the neck or around the wrist to form an anti loss strap.

MOQ and Price
100 pcs is the standard MOQ, and the price will be considered. Special functional styles (500- to 1,000-piece builds) begin at 500 to 1,000 pcs. The price of each unit decreases with an increase in quantity. Samples will take 5 to 7 days to be produced. Bulk orders are sent out within 10-15 working days.
No tooling cost
Many styles available in stock. The minimum stock of the items in the cart is 100 pieces. No mold fee. The reason why the price is low is that the tooling has already been completed. In the case of fast delivery and small quantities, stock is the sensible solution.

1. Which is the best material? What are the differences between aluminum alloy, stainless steel and zinc alloy?
Pick by use case. Each material has a specific level of strength.
Everyday carry calls for aluminum alloy. Light in hand, takes anodized color well and retains the color. The keys, bags, EDC clips – that’s what most carabiner keychains are constructed from. The color range is good.
When strength and corrosion resistance are required, stainless steel (grade 304) is a choice. Climbing, long term outdoor use, Pet leash clips that get daily exposure to water and grit. It doesn’t rust. It holds up.
3D sculptural shapes or cartoon forms are made of zinc alloy. Well cast; holds sharp detail on surface. Ideal for layered brand gifts or custom shapes that require a 3D instead of flat appearance.
Quick tip: day to day key/bag clip, use lightweight multicolour aluminum. If you’re choosing a load-bearing, go outdoors and select a stainless steel. If it is a 3D shape of cartoon or brand, select Zinc Alloy.
2. What is the capacity of the carabiner that holds the weight on it? Do keys and bags suffice?
The standard aluminum carabiners are of a spring gate design. In everyday use, keys, bags, water bottles and pet leashes are within reach of the load. No concern there.
The climbing carabiners are another type. Body Locking, aluminum alloy made, 25 kN rated. This includes professional climbing and mountaineering loads.
Tip: If you are giving a carabiner for load-bearing use, please inform us in advance. We will guide you to the correct locking structure and material instead of you having to guess from a spec sheet.
3. Does the colour match my brand's Pantone?
Yes. Aluminium alloy anodising is PANTONE colour matchable. Tolerance is within ±5%. They have vivid colors and hold colors. Stable to normal handling.
Color can be applied to recessed areas or even to a large flat surface on the metal body using soft enamel and baked paint.
Bright gold, electroplated finishes, gunmetal black and antique bronze; our standard range can be mixed to suit your needs.
Process: you supply the Pantone number, we create a physical sample for color sample, photograph it against the reference and then the bulk production is ordered when we get approval of the match.
4. What logos can be used? What do they look like?
Laser engraving: Clean and precise line work. High detail reproduction. Ideal for text, monograms and compact logos with fine edges.
Silk screen and pad print: Designed for large format prints and multi-colour prints. Works in flat surfaces and gently curved surfaces.
Anodizing and engraving: the colour and the logo can also be achieved in the same process, creating a single surface instead of a print on top. Scratch-resistant. The logo doesn’t wear off.
One to watch on licensing: when it’s a registered trademark or IP licensed artwork an authorization letter is required prior to production. Our content does not include any IP risk for generic text, original geometric shapes or original cartoon characters.
5. Which one to choose: a 2D or a 3D shape?
Flat 2D is low cost and high volume. Laser or silk screened logo. Fast to produce. The most common type of giveaway to give out at events, trade shows, and promotions where the quantity of items is more important than tactile detail.
There is another category of 3D sculptural. Zinc alloy or aluminium alloy die-cast: the relief shape of the letters or cartoon forms is the dimensional object, everything that varies from a single point of view to another. Not as quick or inexpensive, but a higher quality article when finished in someone’s hand.
The real divide: bulk promotional run, go flat 2D. If you can make a 3D gift out of a premium brand, or you want the giver to be impressed and receive it, 3D is your way to go.
6. What is the difference between an outdoor climbing carabiner and a key chain clip?
Two products for two different needs.
Climbing outdoors: Locking structure (screw gate or auto-lock). High grade stainless steel or aluminium. Constructed & rated to withstand vertical load. This is the one used in climbing, mountaineering and technical outdoor activity.
Normal key ring version: Spring gate. Light. Come in a variety of colors. Designed for convenience and looks, not load bearing. Keys, bag zippers, water bottle loops, EDC carry. All everyday use.
Choose by scenario. If the climbing is technically difficult or heavy load, use the locking version. Use the spring gate key chain version for commute, travel, keys or casual carry.
7. Can a carabiner be made into a webbing lanyard or strap?
Yes. Standard build includes: nylon webbing lanyard, metal carabiner clip, and D-ring, all in one final product.
The width and color of webbing are both custom. Brands typically place a mountain graphic, wordmark, or repeat pattern on the lanyard length and full coverage logo and artwork is printed along the length. Neck and wrist carry is good. Too, anti-loss chain.
Include a sample photo or sketch of the image you’re looking for. Before any tooling is done, we create a 3D image to your satisfaction with dimensions and proportions checked before production goes into effect.
8. What is the lowest quantity that you can order? How many minutes does it take?
MOQ is 100 pcs.
Samples are sent for 5-7 days. Bulk orders will ship 10-15 days after order.
Styles that re-use a mold will be faster to produce as the tooling process has already been completed. If you have a shape with a logo or color change, you’ll save a lot of time on the timeline.
MOQ for functional builds (bottle opener, LED, rope cutter) is higher. This is dependent on the function and tooling used. In the quote we confirm.
9. What types of accessories would go well with a carabiner?
Key ring: Most common combination: Key ring. Clips on and off easily. The norm for any keychain app.
D-ring: fits nicely around the wrist strap or leather wrist cord. Reads cleaner and more simple. Business gifts and high-quality presentations.
Webbing lanyard: Logo printed along entire length of the lanyard. Carry at the neck or wrist. The most popular format in public spaces for a brand.
